Supplier Compliance Risk Manager

A Supplier Compliance Risk Manager oversees the compliance and risk management of third-party suppliers and vendors. They ensure that suppliers adhere to legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies. This role involves conducting due diligence, risk assessments, and audits of suppliers, developing and implementing compliance programs, and managing incident responses. Additionally, they work closely with procurement and legal teams to address any compliance issues and mitigate risks associated with supplier relationships.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Perform supplier pre-qualification and due diligence activities for new suppliers.
  • Prepare DD reports for supplier selection decision making.
  • Perform supplier sanction checks & audits.
  • Proactively manage and coordinate the mitigation of identified risks in the supplier base.
  • Assist sourcing managers within the sourcing case and provide fact-based inputs to support business decisions for supplier & solution use
  • Provide expertise in developing the Supplier Code of Conduct further.
  • Drive supplier adoption of Science Based Targets to reduce CO2 emissions.
  • Respond and address ad hoc requests and administrative duties.

What experience should you have:

  • Previous experience in supplier due diligence, audits and risk management at least 3+ years
  • Understanding of relevant standards, regulations and practices
  • Detail oriented, proactive, and solution oriented with ability to drive issues through to resolution.
  • Strong collaboration, communication and soft skills set.
  • Able to work independently and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (365)/Word/Excel/Outlook/SharePoint, JIRA will be a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
