Process & Quality Manager

As a Process & Quality Manager within the Delivery Unit Technology Management, you will operate in a strategically cross-functional role connecting Business and IT. You will analyze complex end-to-end systems and processes, identify optimization potential, and drive digitalization and quality improvements across functions such as HR, Accounting, Finance, Procurement, and Technology.

Your role focuses on creating transparency through holistic process design, ensuring quality governance, and strengthening collaboration between stakeholders on management level. You will act as a strategic enabler, helping shape the IT and process landscape in alignment with the overall technology strategy.

What will be your key responsibilities:

The current focus is on strengthening end-to-end process transparency, increasing efficiency and effectiveness across Delivery Units, and ensuring sustainable quality standards within a complex IT-driven environment. The role combines strategic process design, governance, and cross-functional alignment.

You will contribute to reducing technical complexity while ensuring robust, scalable, and business-relevant IT solutions that support long-term organizational goals.

  • Analyze complex end-to-end systems and processes to identify optimization potential across efficiency and effectiveness within a cross-functional scope
  • Develop and implement measures to address process weaknesses and gaps, including driving technology transfer and process digitalization
  • Design and establish holistic process maps that provide transparency and clear interaction models between Business and IT
  • Develop and implement concepts to improve cross-functional processes and quality standards
  • Define and implement quality management principles, including governance structures and supporting tools
  • Strategically plan and oversee quality assurance measures; define and monitor adherence to quality targets, KPIs, and compliance requirements
  • Facilitate alignment between decision-makers and subject matter experts to identify risks early and resolve obstacles efficiently
  • Ensure clear responsibilities, structured decision-making, and traceability of outcomes
  • Advise management on system and process landscape design, including agile development and process engineering methodologies
  • Lead cross-functional alignment with stakeholders at management level and ensure timely, well-informed decision-making
  • Synchronize and guide the Delivery Unit to ensure professionally aligned and strategically oriented collaboration

What experience should you have:

  • Fluent German and English
  • Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration/Economics, or comparable vocational training with relevant specialization and/or additional qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in Process and Quality Management
  • Very strong experience in both classic and agile collaboration models
  • Excellent experience in prioritization and escalation management
  • Proven experience leading strategic and cross-functional IT projects; methodological knowledge as Product Owner and/or Project Manager
  • Strong domain experience in Accounting, HR, Finance, Procurement, or similar shared service environments
  • Strong expertise in process automation and digitalization
  • Strong knowledge of methods and tools for continuous improvement processes
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex environments
  • Strong experience leading strategically oriented initiatives
