Accounts Payable Accountant with English - Praha

As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance within a multicultural, international team environment. This position is integral to our finance department, focusing on maintaining efficient financial operations and supplier relationships. Knowledge of Czech is not necessary.

What will be your key responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with relevant group accounting policies and standards.
Perform and oversee bank statement reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions.
Review, classify, and record supplier data and invoices, ensuring timely and accurate accounting of all business transactions.
Process and allocate expense accounts and cost centers, managing and tracking orders.
Regularly update supplier data and financial information.
Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices, payment statuses, and inquiries, resolving queries and complaints.
Support and collaborate on projects aimed at process optimization and agile work implementation.

What experience should you have:

Proven experience in accounting, ideally in accounts payable, with knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Strong numerical skills and experience in data entry.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of SAP; experience with Open Text is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
Very good command of English; knowledge of German and other languages is an advantage.
