Ticketing Agent - Galileo, Amadeus

We are seeking a skilled Ticketing Agent - Galileo, Amadeus who is responsible for managing flight reservations and issuing tickets using reservation systems such as Galileo or Amadeus. The agent works in the travel industry and plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient ticketing processes for customers.

You will be responsible for:

- Create new ticket bookings in GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo,

- Execute ticketing services including initial ticket issuance, revalidation, 

- Calculate fares based on airline rules, customer requirements and applicable regulations,

- Handle rebookings and calculate refunds when required,

- Perform schedule change management by searching for alternative flights that align with customer preferences, 

- Maintain effective communication with ticketing partners and airlines to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that arise.

- Proficiency in using reservation systems such as Galileo or Amadeus,

- Strong knowledge of airline fare rules, ticketing procedures and travel regulations,

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling ticketing processes,

- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) also in English to interact with customers and provide assistance,

- Problem-solving abilities to address schedule changes, cancellations and customer concerns,

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, 

- Multitasking skills to manage multiple reservations and inquiries simultaneously,
